- Will this tile slip when it gets wet?
- Slip resistance is measured, not guessed. Look for the anti-skid or R-rating row in the spec table on any product page — a higher R number means more grip underfoot when the surface is wet. For a bathroom floor, ask for an anti-skid surface in the wet zone and keep the polished finishes for dry areas and walls. Bring the room measurements to the showroom and we will walk you across the anti-skid range in daylight.
- Do you have R11 anti-skid for a ramp? The bank wants a slip certificate.
- Anti-skid ramp tiles are a regular line for us and the R-rating is shown in the spec table on each product page, so you can shortlist before you come in. For the certificate itself: the slip rating is the manufacturer’s test result, so the document you submit to the bank has to be their datasheet or test certificate, not a letter from us. Tell the counter which design you are shortlisting and we will get the manufacturer paperwork for it.
- Can I forward a product page to my client on WhatsApp?
- Yes — every product page has a WhatsApp share button, and it sends a formatted message rather than a bare link: the design name, the SKU, the finish and the size, plus the link back to the page. Your client sees what the tile is without having to open anything, and the message survives being forwarded on through a group.
- What is the rate per square foot?
- We do not publish rates on the website. Tile pricing moves with the lot, the quantity you need and what is on the floor that week, and a number printed here would be wrong by the time you read it. Send us the design name or SKU on WhatsApp and the counter will confirm it for your site.
- Are you an authorised dealer? I have been burned by fake claims.
- Fair question, and we will answer it with paper rather than with a badge on a website. We are not publishing authorisation claims or manufacturer logos on this site, because a logo on a page proves nothing — anyone can put one there. Come to the counter, or ask on WhatsApp, and we will show you what we hold for the specific brand you are buying. Our GSTIN is in the footer and you can verify it on the GST portal before you come.
- Can I verify your GST registration?
- Please do. Our GSTIN is printed in the footer of every page on this site and on every invoice we issue, and you can check it against the government GST portal before you spend anything with us.
- Why buy from you rather than a listing site or the shop next door?
- Three things you can check rather than take on trust. Our GSTIN is published in the footer and verifiable on the GST portal. The specification for each design — water absorption, PEI class, slip rating, thickness — is on its product page, so you can compare like with like instead of comparing sales talk. And the same counter that sells you the material is here when something goes wrong two years later, which a listing site is not.
- Can I see this tile in a real room, not a showroom display?
- Use the "Visualise in room" button on any product page — it puts the tile into a room photograph so you can judge the scale and the shade against furniture rather than against a display board. Our gallery also carries photographs of finished jobs. Neither replaces taking a sample home for the actual room.
- How long have you been in business?
- We have been trading in Guwahati for two decades under the same name and the same family — the founding year is stated in the footer of every page. A good number of the people at the counter are dealing with the second house of the same customer.
- Will this fade or get black patches in the monsoon?
- Black lines along the joints are almost always the grout, not the tile — untreated cement grout holds moisture and grows mould in a Guwahati monsoon. Vitrified tile bodies do not absorb enough water to stain from the inside. Ask for an epoxy or sealed grout and a proper slope so water leaves the floor, and the joints stay clean.
